Core Blimey! Ben & Jerry's Core Creations

There I was, a normal day in work, tappy tappy tap tap. And then an email came in, asking if I'd like to sample the new Ben & Jerry's Core creations. I WOL'd. That would be Whooped Out Loud. 

...Ben & Jerry’s has revealed a revolutionary style of ice cream with their brand-spanking new creation - ‘The Core’. ‘The Core’ combines not one, but two favourite Fairtrade flavours in a tub with a core of udderly delicious sauce down the centre for the ultimate taste sensation...

 

 Of course, there was only one answer......Hell to the YEAH!!

It arrived with a little shovel spoon, so you could literally dig in!

And, dig in I did!!
When I first opened the tub, I had to stop and make a plan of action. Where to start?!

  The gooey caramel centre is just incredible. There is so much of it, the whole way through. Not forgetting the plethora of chocolate chips. Moovelous, indeed.

In the interest of research I worked my way to the end. The whole time thinking-why isn't ALL ice cream like this?! Once you go Core, this is no more....

...you have been warned!!

Karamel Sutra

A soft chocolate truffle core surrounded by vanilla & raspberry ice creams with white chocolatey chunks & raspberry pieces.

Dough-ble Whammy
A soft chocolate fudge core surrounded by chocolate & cookie dough ice creams with cookie dough chunks.

While ‘The Core’ flavours are sure to bring fresh excitement to freezers nationwide, what doesn’t change is Ben & Jerry’s commitment to value led sourcing – from sustainably sourced dairy to Fairtrade certified ingredients. This means that ‘The Core’ offers a double whammy of guilt free enjoyment and moo-mentous flavour.

‘The Core’ flavours will be making their way into freezers from March 2012 with an RRP of €5.89. 

I've spotted them in Tesco and Dunnes at or around half price!!!
